Nanowrimo 2017 has begun and so far I’ve written 5,168 words.
This is the most organised I’ve been during Nanowrimo. I have a detailed outline (detailed for me, as I’m usually a discovery writer), the structure is mapped out (ok, it’s in my head), and I know the different threads of stories I want to include. I’ve even been tinkering with research that takes my story into new directions that I hadn’t anticipated.
This is the most complex book I’ve tried writing, but it also makes it exciting as I juggle to keep hold of each part and remember to add all the details that need to be included.
